Does anyone know how to make wood grain run with the length of the part when rendered in Photoworks? Is there a setting that I am missing?

ManxJim,
Could you please tell me how you had to build your part in Solidworks so that the grain was in the direction that it should be? Thanks :)

To rotate the wood grain, you need to edit the material for that face. Then go to the "Displacement" window in the dialog box. Near the bottom is a "rotate" box, type in the angle of rotation and "Apply". It works best I've found if you apply materials to a face as opposed to a whole body. You get better control of the grain direction.
