CNUT indicated they use UT Testing to check wall thicknes in rubber tubes. I have looked at several UT companies (Hocker, Stork) and found high elongation rubber attenuates the sound waves such that getting a return signal is impossible. Lower transducer frequency reduces the pulse width and increases the ultrasound penetration but at the cost of resolution.
Can you elaborate on the tpe of transducer you use? Are you using conventional UT methods? Do you test 100%.
