UV light in food industry is used for disinfection, e.g. water or air, not generally for food. Are you thinking about irradiation?

Yes, I am thinking about irradiation to disinfect Sandwiches (in a factory) before they are packed and shipped.

I don't think UV is going to work to disinfect sandwiches. The UV wouldn't penetrate the sandwich.

Maybe you should clean the factory and avoid the need for disinfecting altogether.
