All, I'm having to do lots more surfacing work latley, and since it was over 4 years ago I did the surfacing course I've forgot most of it, apart from the things I regularly do. Can anybody share some good tips / know some good sites to look at.

Thanks,

Darren

There's lots of good advice, right here on this forum.

It would be a task to republish it.

Your best bet is to take a refresher course, because if you were trained in Surfacing four years ago and have not put it to practice, then most of it will have gone.

The danger in trying to catch up from various websites and odd threads in forums, etc is that with unstructured learning there is the risk of adopting bad habits. It is possible to blunder along like this, but not much fun for anyone else who has to work with models that are badly put together.

It is in your employer's interest to give the proper training, it is a false economy not to do so.

I wish the company I worked for sore it like that! I've got out my old training manuals, and most of it still makes sense.

Thanks for the replys
