V5 Excel Design Table Automatic Update

Hello,
I have set up a design table as an external Excel file and brought it into V5, linked to the correct V5 dimensional parameters.

Problem: With V5 shut down, I want to be able to open Excel, change the parameters in the Excel file, save Excel (and probably shut it down), then open the V5 model and have V5 automatically read the new parameters from the recently saved Excel file and update the model in V5.

Seems like this should be easy, but it's not working. Did I do something wrong in the set up/linking the design table, or is there an optional setting to make this happen after the design table is set up. If I change and save Excel then open V5 and look at the design table, it shows the "old" values from Excel, not what I just entered and saved.

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but new to V5.
