Having a problem when generating views of certain parts. For some reason when view generation mode is exact the views shows, what looks like, the basic outline of part. All the pockets and holes missing. Basically a L-block comes out looking like a square block with no holes. When I switch view generation to approximate everything looks fine. Seems should be other way around. The part was updated and I don't see any problems with it. (It's a pretty basic piece.)
My main concern is will dimensions come out ok in approximate. We just switched from r14 to r16 and this is the second time we've had this problem. We normally draw everything in exact mode. Is approximate better now in r16?
Thanks for any help you all can give.

are you sure the solid is define as IN WORK OBJECT.

update your solid. change something in the first feature to make sure all update are OK.

clean your 3D file.

delete features one by one from bottom of solid in order to find out which one is messing up with the drawing view update.

Thanks. It was an up-date issue in the part. Picking away at it found it.
