Based on the traffic in eng-tips this week, I should have taken the week off too.

I heard on the news that something like 50% of the workforce was off the week between xmas and new years.

Seems like we're nearly back up to full steam around the office now, but everyone is playing catch up.

Isn't all of Europe on vacation in August? It seems like it. And, coming up soon (1/23/2012), all of China and most of Asia will be on holiday for 1-3 weeks - Chinese New year.

I'll be taking a "vacation" in a week for a hip replacement. I suspect I'll be up and posting soon, although until I'm off the painkillers, ~ one week, my posts will also be suspect.
