Hi all,

I would like to ask if your vacuum pump has water within. I assume it will fail to operate correctly. In this case, is there any method to dry the vacuum pipe?

A few kinds of vacuum pump will tolerate water. Not all.
Mine doesn't much care for water.
You didn't tell us what kind yours is, so I can't advise about that.

Most of our vacuum pumps are of the liquid ring design. These require water in order to function. Please provide additional details about you pump and service in order to get meaningful responses.

Liquid ring vacuum pumps use liquid (usually water, but not always).

Other types will run without liquid (sliding vane, rotary, etc).

In other words, it depends.

Well, MY vacuum pump uses water as its primary vacuum generator (suction syphon). Real quiet too.
