Hi All, I am involved in the analysis of some vacuum pumps and in my opinion the most important parameter is the "cubic meters per hour" (air removal).

Lot of pumps have only the power shown in HP or kW and I am finding some difficult in comparing them.

Can someone helps me explaining if there is any link between the different measurment units or how can value them?

Thanks
DiP

Vacuum flow rates and pressures at those flow rates are the important parameters.
For the rest of your inquiries, do an internet search on power transmission. It's not hard and self explanatory.
