Vacuum Sewer Valve Pit/Lift Station Retro-fit

I am working on a project in which a school and teacher housing will have gravity sewer lines to a lift station. We will eventually turn the system into a vacuum sewer system and the lift station into a vacuum valve pit. Does anyone have any experience with this conversion from a lift station to a valve pit.

We have done this several times and in most cases we used this when for example the total area was not suitable for a vacuum sewer system due to different ground levels or we used this option if one of the buildings is to far from the vacuum mainline and is was more cost effective to use a small lif station which pumps it into a vacuum chamber. Anyway what is important is the flow coming into this vacuum chamber to determine the number of vacuum valves, vacuum chamber size. Also where is this school located, at the end of the mainline or near the vacuum station etc.

The most important thing about your proposal is the gpm that will be pumped. Each valve should receive 15 gallons per minute on average, each valve can handle more for short periods. Just add additional vavle pits to the location where you will receive flows. The absolute most important thing you need to do is split the flows from the lift station equally amonst the different valves, each valve needs to receive an equal portion of the flows.
