Hello,
I am trying to validate the stresses from fea analysis close to nozzle shell junction and I would like to know which formula you use to compare these values and validate the analysis.
Do you use wrc 537, 297 values or calculation by formula as per Asme Viii div2 to compare the output from Fea?
Because far from nozzle shell junction there are no problems but here I need help.
Thank you

I think you use FEA to validate the other methods. If you have a copy of the standards mentioned, I think they'll have some discussion of accuracy of results, which is not as accurate as you might imagine, given the complexity of them.
