If the constitutive thickness of the cohesive zone in my model is 0.001 m, and the length of each cohesive element is 0.1m, what should I put in as the value of E/Enn or G1/Gss (if the Young's Modulus of the surrounding reservoir in my model is 30 GPa)? I just want my model to run smoothly!!! I would like a stiffness value of 3.0e12 N/m for the cohesive elements, but I woudn't know what will be the equivalent value of E/Enn for that!!!!
Is the value that I input in E/Enn the stiffness of the cohesive elements or the Young's Modulus? After reading the Cohesive Traction Separation section, I am aware that if the constitutive thickness happens to be 1, then Enn = Knn. But, I don't know what value should I put in for E/Enn or G1/Gss, if the thickness is not 1!!!
Thanks!
