Freshly minted BS chemical engineer here; to what extent might I expect knowledge of solid transport operations (conveying, slurry transport, milling/separation, etc.) help to distinguish myself in the field of process engineering? We certainly were not taught any of this material in college, so I suspect that these particular operations might help to round out my toolbox besides the run of the mill (no pun intended I swear!) fluids/heat-mass xport/kinetics stuff.
