Valve actuator approval 2

Hello,
This is my first SD valve design activity and I need to approve the GA drawings for the selected actuator (air operated,Eex d, Worm Gear or similar, mounted on the valve at an angle). I'll just like to know if there any standard or usual points to look out for in accepting the vendors drawings. Our specification was quite basic.

I would be cautious as to:

Air requirements:
1) Quality/filtration of air
2) min-max pressure
3) min-max flow rate
4) fail state; open or closed

Also calibration and/or mechanical adjustment requirements.

I typically buy from a limited number of vendors. I usually don't do much more than cursory check of their drawings, if that.

I usually check the valve's datasheet against mine. This it to confirm the typical stuff, like David saig:
- fail open/close position is correct
- the correct model and size of valve
- the correct "stuff" is included

In addition to above, verify the mark number, find out where it is to be installed and verify that it fits and attaches to the valve properly. Verify sizes, ratings and locations of all connections to the actuator and that it fits inside the space allocated for it in its installed location.
