valve Body and closure titanium grade 2 Astm B348 / B381

Good morning to everybody. I am from Italy and i work in ball valves industry; i have a doubt about titanium material specifications; since Astm B381 standard talks about forgings, while the ASTM B348 talks about bars; is it possible, in your experience, to certify rolled or forged bars according to B381? The issue is mainly with body and closures.

Yes this is possible in some cases.
You need to talk to people in this business to find out the details.
We used to make extrusions and specs were always a long discussion.
