Our client has requested the procurement of a 2" ball valve #6000, threaded + NACE. I've checked ASME B16.34 for valves including threaded ones and the rating designation goes up to 4500, and according to API 6D, the rating goes up to 2500. Can there be a mistake on this request or Im I missing something here? Also, can it be assumed that the "+NACE" requirement be referring to the NACE MR0175 standard? Or further inquiring is required?
