HELLO,
i am currently learning solidworks simulation through self and i am specifically learning for valve simulation and analysis. can anyone suggest me study material like book,article,blog or lectures specifically regarding valve simulation like how to set up and process valve analysis in any FEA Software.

Easy, don’t…

Some ASME codes have guidance, but you can determine all valve properties through calculations with excel/mathcad or even a pen and paper.

If you can’t do it by hand don’t put it in FEA you won’t know whether the results are right or not…

like, i have intermediate knowledge of valve design & performance, but i want to set it up on FEA coz in hand calculation it takes a lot of time. all i want to be aware of like to how to implement FEA options on simulation.

Just apply the same basic principles of FEA to the valve?
Apply loads, restraints etc.
Clean the models to removed any extra features.
Demonstrate the mesh isn’t influencing the results.
Verify accuracy against a ball park hand calc.
Isn’t any secrets to it really; if have been taught how to use FEA is just a different application of the same skill.
