Valves for wastewater applications 2

I need to learn more about valves, i.e. when a plug valve would be a better application than a resilient wedge valve. When to use a butterfly valve, etc. Anybody know of any websites, books, etc. I could use to school myself with fairly basic information on valves?

Plug valves are perferred on wastewater applications.

If you remove or comminute the solids, then you have more options on the type of valve used. Butterfly valves are used on larger stations (with the solids removed).

Gate valves can be used.

Ball valves are never used.
