I'm working on a special refrigeration compressor design and I can't figure out where to go to find some valves that open and close at predetermined pressures. Is there a list of valves (off-the-shelf) available somewhere? Had no luck after hours of searching. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm desperate!

Don't think he's talking about that kind of valve Mike, but maybe. I'm assuming he's talking about suction controllers, discharge controllers, and recycle controllers. OP, if you are talking about recip suction/discharge valves, then they open at whatever differential they are designed for (not pressure magnitude, although higher pressures can tolerate stiffer valves)

I'd start with Kimray then go to Fisher then go to Masoneisuclan.
