Variable Number of Input Parameters Select Statement Help.....

I need some help creating a Select statement that will take an input of 4 fields (all of which may not be filled in all the time) and preform a search. It would be like having a First name field, and a Last name field. Then having a search that you could search by either field or both fields at the same time. Thanks to anyone that might be able to help me.....
