Variable Pitch Helix (thread) in SW2003 2

Does SW2003 have the capability to creat a Variable Pitch Helix (thread)? I've looked through the HELP section but found no answers. I thought I'd check here before I move on.

Thanks for your help.

Not as a single feature. However you could create several constant pitch helices in sequence to get a similar result.
The tangency & "thread" form matching at their intersections might not work for you though ... depends on how accurate & "variable" you are trying to make it.

Cor is correct, I have been able to use multiples with some success on Springs. This is done by creating the three helix features and then using a composite curve to combine them all into a single entity with one sketch to ride the curve. Take a look or download some of the compression springs from the SW Site under downloads, models, parts, springs. You will see some good examples there.
