Variable Vane Pump/Motor

Could somebody please tell me if it is possible to get a variable vane pump and motor in the same housing?
If so, how much would it weigh
Would it also be possible to use it as a pressure changer?

Thank you

You can get a variable speed drive to run a pump but the question is :is it realy required?

Variable speed drives are used in high capacities PD pumps to give variable flow rates and not variable pressures.Pressure can be changed by some other means like pressure reducing valves or by changing pressure relief valve set point(which is normaly built in the pump).
Notice also that the cost of the frequency converter is sometimes more than the cost of the pump.
