Hi,

I'm fairly new to Solidworks (Have about 1 month of usage) and I was wondering if there was a way to change the line thickness of a feature in a part drawing. I know you can change the line thickness of parts in an assembly drawing by using the Component Line Font command but I am not too sure if you can do the same for a part drawing without causing the entire model to change to that line style.

So is there a way to make the line outline of some features different in a part drawing?

Thanks,

You can definitely right click the specific edges that you want to change and edit their line weight/type/color. As far as selecting a feature and making the change... I don't believe so.

Pretty good with SolidWorks

You can copy those lines to a sketch in your drawing and thicken them there... cheezy, I know.
