VB.NET application via CATIA API

Hello,

Two (2) questions:

1) We would like to create a VB.NET program that will be able to automate certain operations in CATIA via the CATIA API. Can this be done?

2) Are any additional CATIA modules needed to do this (i.e. required to purchase)?
