Hi All

I am plotting the velocity and pressure distributions over a cambered Joukowsky airfoil at an incidence of 8 degrees subjected to a fluid flow and fluid density of 70m/s and 0.9kg/m^3 respectively.

Using potential flow methods (transforming from a circle to an airfoil), I am using an eccentricity of e = 0.15 and a camber of 0.15.

Using my results, I normalised the transformed velocity over the flow velocity on the y-axis and plotted it against x/c.

Attached is a picture of my results.

I feel like it could be correct but the negative velocity ratios are bothering me - does that suggest reversed flow? Do I merely have to shift my graph up higher?

Kind Regards
Jyotika
