I am looking for vendors of IR or UV flame scanners. Anyone have recommendations?

Please clarify which type application - for verification of a furnace flame; or detection of a plant fire.

Have you read FAQ731-376 to make the best use of Eng-Tips Forums?
 
There is a caveat in purchasing flame scanners and detectors.
If you are going to have to do any Radiography in the area of installation you will have to make sure of the operation of the instruments in a radiation field. Some of the instruments are extremely sensitive to Gamma Radiation. This is especially true of the self checking ones.
