have anyone experience with the ventilation of a note sorting machine (dust control)?

what type of system have worked for you?

Dust control, look at the Industrial Ventilation post and see my reply. This is the same situation, probably a hood, round duct, dust collector, and fan. Exhaust air could be ducted to the AC system or vented to outside.

Assume you mean paper dust. Be wary of cartridge design dust collectors as pleats can plug easily with paper dust. Tube style collectors are better bet and can be simple non-pulsating type. As in all dust collection apps, attention should be paid to minimizing the air required... careful design of hood pickps is necessary. Does sorting machinery have built in taps?
