Read the international mechanical code and ASHRAE.

wouldn't it be a good engineering judgement to add it, whether it is required or not?

I thank you very much for your replies .Can someone please give me reference with section of code .I have checked in the ASHRAE62.1 but could not find exactly .

It depends on what part of the world you're in, and which building code and Mechanical code you're subject to.

You won't find it in ASHRAE 62.1 I don't think.

Best to you,
