Verification of family tables 2

Why is it that when I verify a "Family Table" succesfully, the next time I open it, the table goes back to "Unverified"?

note: I am not deleting the IDX file.

Pro/E regenerates each instance to see if the part/assy can be successfully regenerated. Since parts & assys can have external references which may have changed since the part was last stored, the only way to be sure is to regen each instance.
