This plc which is a DL suffix inputs are all high. Measuring from inputs to 24vdc+ 1.5k ohm resistance.I need
inputs to be all low then pull high when activated . What i want to know is there a switch jumper inside the unit I can switch it.
The keypad and sensor switches that go to the inputs when activated send 24v to the plc inputs.
The story behind this its in a chiller heat ex changer. This is a back up system . So before I was involved the plc quit and someone order one off the web. Threw the other old one out. So I don't know the suffix of the original one. The factory of the chiller doesn't support this but agreed to program the control we had bought. They didn't test it as they no longer have that chiller to test it .
I believe the controller was program for the original setup. This version of PLC just has the wrong input setting.
If there is not a switch or jumper then either I'll have to put relays on the inputs to hold to ground lever till relay activated or go inside of plc hopefully and I'll be able connect the common on the sip resistor network from 24vdc to ground. Hopefully they used a sip network for the pull up resistors.
Emerson has this product now. This one we have is a GE.Emerson manual covers all the versa line so not as detailed as I would like.
And the expertise from ge is gone .
I assume when this was made it had a specific manual that model.
anyone with more information on the PLC ?
Stay Safe
