I've been trying to add a vertical break to a long extrusion. I can get the break inserted the first time and everything looks great. The issue is 2 fold. If you try to edit the length of the part and then update the drawing it does not update correctly. The second part is I haven't found a way to add more than 1 vertical break.
Thanks in advance.

I have run into the same problem. I am not sure of a good fix, but try unbreaking the view and updating then breaking the view again. I have had to reinsert a new view in some cases. You can add more breaks by clicking on the view, then go under insert pulldown and then vertical break. Repeat this for more breaks. What happens sometimes is the breaks will come in over to one side, off the part. You have to get them and drag them on your part.

Try a ctrl-Q and see if that updates or try DHALE1's suggestion of unvreaking and rebreaking the view.

As for more than one break - That is a limitation and will require an Enhancement Request.

DHALE1 - If your getting more than one break per view... I would like to know how your doing this, because I to only get the option of one break per view.

I retried it after Dhale1 made his comment and I was able to get more than one break.
Insert your first break and then before doing anything else go and insert another break. Make sure that you have the drawing view selected. It should work.
I'm still having issues with it updating correctly when you change the length though

I have always been able to insert multiple breaks in a single view. I just tried again in 2004 to see if it was a limitation in the new release... it wasn't. All I did was left click in the view and go to INSERT> VERTICAL BREAK the break inserted. I then did it again. Another break inserted. Give it a try, it should work

I just messed with it some more. The view must be in the un-broken state in order to insert another break. Also if your breaks are large you may get an error message saying:
"Cannot insert a break in this drawing view. There is no room left due to the size of the other breaks or the break overlaps with another break."

If you are trying to get 2 verticals or 2 horizontal break lines to appear, then yes that works, but I thought you were trying to get of 1 of each type - 1 Vert. and 1 Hori.

That is a limitation from what I can tell here.

Also, the views I can not get either vert or horiz breaks to work correctly is Isometric.
