Hello everyone,

After creating a circle in the sketch & exiting from the sketch, why are the 2 vertices created on the circle which results in the edge (smooth) formation on the extruded cylindrical surface created from the circled sketch? Can anyone suggest is it a software generated by-default problem ? OR still can we avoid this ?

Regards

Himanshu

That's the way CATIA has always represented canonical surfaces (cylinders, cones, or spheres).

If you change your rendering style to SHADING WITH EDGES WITHOUT SMOOTH EDGES, those edges won't be displayed.

Thanks Jackk, for the information. Yes, the edge will disappear when we change our shading display.

I am posting another thread today, can you please reply on that?

Many thanks in advance.
