We have built a pressure vessel in carbon steel (22 mm thickness). Weldings need to be impact tested. Longitudinal and circumferential welds are made according two different WPS (the first for all welds less the one for the clousure of the two half part of the vessel, the second for this circumferential weld), but a same supporting PQR.
Now it is enought one wessel production impact test plates per UG-84(i) or we need two test plates, one for each different WPS used even in with the same supporting PQR?

Many thanks in advance

According to UG-84 (i) 1 General, it states impact tests of welds and heat affected zones shall be made in accordance with UG-84 (g) for each qualified welding procedure used...

So, if you used two different WPS's supported by the same PQR this makes no difference.

Assuming though that your PQR uses two different processes, each should be represented in the production test.
