Hi All,

I have a project coming up with VFDs. Project manager wants me involved but I haven't had that much drives experience.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good text or online source?

There is one specific to drives, but also motors and DC drive systems as well as other control related training courses. All free for downloading, not too much in the way of vendor specific information.

Control Techniques published an excellent book on drives. It is quite expensive but an excellent reference:
