Attached some comments about from which reference point should be measured the much-commented Vcm caused by PWM VFDs.

First idea is to get an artificial neutral (if you don´t have it at motor-end) with a star impedance net, and then,
from which reference makes sense to measure it and what does it mean?

please see the ppt where are commented several cases that I run into seeking to understand it...
