I have a problem involving transient response of a system where the frequency of the input sinusoidal load changes every 0.22 seconds and the amplitude is maintained at a constant peak. I have a frequency v/s stress data from frequency response analysis. I also have a ascii file of time v/s load data, I need to do a fatigue analysis using MSC-Fatigue. Can anyone help me as to how do I use this information to perform a fatigue analysis in MSC-Fatigue

Hi

I am required to reduce the noise of a small dc motor from 40 dba to 30 dba. I was able to obtain a power spectrum of the noise and the vibrations of the motor using peizoelectric accelerometer. I am new to this type of analysis and am wondering how to proceed any further to determine the frequencies at which the noise is occuring. Please suggest me some methods to follow to perform this analysis.

Thanks in advance,
Deepak.
