Hi all,

I wanted to test CatiaV5R10 on my PC (AMD1800XP, 256MDDR and ATI rage pro 128 videocard)

I know its not an ideal CAD videocard, but as I said, I just wanted to test and compare Catia to other software CAD I know.

Well, Catia hangs VERY often and I am sure its the video card. Setting 8 bit colors and turning hardware acceleration off avoids it, but you can't work that way!

Where do you get the list of cards and drivers certified to work with Catia?

If you already had some vcard trouble and solved it, how did you do it? (without changing your card, of course!)

My ATI driver is the 6.13.10.3010, date 12/06/2002, file R128-win2K-5016.zip

Thanks in advance!

As I understand it, the cards that are presently certified for CATIA are the Matrox Parhelia (which I use), ATI FireGL, NVidia Quadro, and 3DLabs WildcatIII/IV/VP.
