Hi all,

Sometimes the size of view boundary of section is much larger than section geometry. If I have several sections in the drw their view boundaries overlap each over.
Is it possible to make view boundary smaller?

Unfortunately, you can not control that. You can, however, trick the application so that you can resize it further by cropping the view. Just insert a rectangle and dimension it such that it is outside of the visible edges of your section view and select Crop View. Adding the dimensions will help keep the cropping outside of your model, should you have to resize it. DimensionalSolutions@Core.com

You can highlight the view, then grab a side to resize it.

You can make it as big as you want (to get it out of your way), but can only make it a bit smaller. Maybe it will be enough in your case.

I haven't figured out yet what controls the default size, but have had a few cases where it became an annoyance. Usually just wind up pulling it accross the next view to get it out of the way leaving access to the other view over and under the larger view border. - hope you understood that...

While you can normally resize it close to the boundaries of the detail in the view, it does not seem to be true with some section views. I have had small section views that have view boundaries larger than the entire drawing. It sure makes it hard when trying to insert several sections. DimensionalSolutions@Core.com
