Hello,
The View > "Set Limits" command works as intended for node, frame, and area elements. However, when I have solid elements in my model they are not affected by the "Set Limits" parameters. If I have node, frame, area, and solid elements all together and then apply "Set Limits" the node, frame, and area elements will only be shown within the limits specified but the solid elements will be shown regardless of location.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. Is this a software glitch or is this restraint in place for good reason? This is especially cumbersome because I have a very large model (over 300,000 dof) and many solid elements. I need to work on details and having less solid elements shown would greatly increase the rendering speed of my PC.
Any insight would be most appreciated.
