Our company is using NX as well as Vis Mockup. In NX we are using arrangements and when that assy is opened up the arrangements are NOT showing up.

Is there a way to get Vis Mockup to show arrangements?

Yes If you are running teamcenter, then it is possible to do it via structure manager (not especially user friendly and TC10 structure manager is a bit flakey with arrangements but it works).

No If you are running native and NX9.

Maybe if you are running NX11 then it might be possible by using plmxml + jt, but it is not something i have gotten to work yet.

I apologize but the IT and team center group can not figure out how to do that with the structure manager... Is there a switch or change in terms (which we know happens) need to get the different arranges to show up in Viz (Teamcenter 10 (10.1.4.2_a01_1(20151016.00)) 64-bit and NX 9.0.3.4)

thanks

Yes, you configure the structure in structure manager eg select the arrangement you want, the select the top node of the structure and choose open in teamcenter visualization. This will the load the structure and place the JT datasets in the positions specified by the arrangement(thus nothing will be shown if there is no JT dataset saved on the components item revision).

Did a quick test in NX11 and plmxml + jt export works quiet well for capturing NX arrangements, atleast for a small test case (see included pdf). Will be interesting to see how the performance holds up when xporting, and viewing assemblies that contain 1000+ unique components.
