We are experimenting with Vista 64 bit for our MCAD program. My understanding is that Vista 64 is not officially supported by Codeware. I was curious to see if anyone else was using Vista64 and what their Compress experience was.

So far it seems to work except for the cover page graphic. Have not tried printing as we don't have 64 bit completely set up yet.

I spoke with someone last week who said they had COMPRESS running on Vista 64. This is the first person I've spoken with who was able to run this (I've spoken with about a baker's dozen people who have tried). I assume that it is being run in some emulator mode.

If I remember correctly, they had the same problem with the cover page. But in any case, the problem with the cover page is probably due to the video card hardware acceleration setting. Try reducing the video card hardware acceleration setting in the Windows Control Panel.

I was anticipating problems based on our previous conversation. I installed normally. The only problem I had initially was recognizing the key and hasp driver. Once I used a USB port on the PC instead of the monitor everything seemed to install correctly. I did not have to use any compatibility mode or do anything special.
