Visual Basic mouse hovers

This may be simple but I haven't figured it out yet, still learning. How can you cause an action when hovering over a button or label. Example: Showing the score that will be entered when hovering the mouse before actually entering it with a click. Thanks for your help.

Simply go to the code editor and select the control that you want to write even handling for. It will be the drop down list at the top left of the code window.

At the right, all the events applicable to that control will be available in that drop down list. Simply select on mousehover event and VB will create the sub header for you. Code the event as you wish!

The above method is generally applicable, even to the new .NET Visual Studio...which is what you should be learning if you are knew (hint, hint).
