Waida Dbl Disc Grinder, we grind small carbide tool bits.
Machine couldn't hold better than .0009 on far corners of a .75 square part.
I've spent days taking this machine apart, found and removed major rust on beds which had lifted grindwheel shaft carriers.
Cleaning, testing, shimming grindwheel shaft carriers finally achieved .0001 or less.
WAM/WENT operator (leadman) scrapes part across diamond plate and rants not F&P visual.
Part mics F&P less than .00015 ea side
Visual scrape shows wide railroad tracks ea side parallel to part direction, perp to grind lines.
I think impossible to get 100% visual from any Dbl disc grinder because of inclination of wheels.
Am I wrong?
