Can anyone confirm if ASME Codes listed below require a certain level of visual inspector certification.

ASME Sec VIII-Div.1
ASME Sec B31.1
ASME Sec B31.3

For Section I visual inspection is mentioned. In this case, if the ASME Certificate holder uses VI, it would have to be described in their QA/QC Manual. This would probably include reference to ASME Section V Article 9.

Both B31.1 and B31.3 provide requirements for VT.
