Hey everyone -
I've been using NX for awhile - but I haven't used a lot of the Visualization features. We are running NX 6.0.5.3, and TCEng 2005 SR 1.
We are trying to add a decal to our model. The orginal designer has created the decals in his file, and everything looks great. He is pulling the .PNG files from a server - not from Teamcenter. They show up in his Materials in Part Palette.
I need to pull his file, decals and all, into my assembly. However, when I open his file at my computer, no decals show up. When I look at the Materials in Part Palette, nothing is loaded.
I know we need to get these images loaded into Teamcenter for everything to work correctly, but I'm not sure where they need to be added. Do we need to get them added to the master "System Materials" library? Will doing this work for a decal rather than a material texture?
I've put in a request with our Teamcenter administrators to get the images loaded, but they have a turtle-esque response time. I want to make sure I don't spend a week barking up the wrong tree.
Any advice appreciated - thanks in advance!
