Hi - is there a quick and easy way to remove a certain depth/volume of runoff from a system to enable conceptual-level storage sizing? In the past I have used pond nodes and set outlet(s) above the base to simulate the target runoff retention, however I was hoping there might be a quicker way of doing this for multiple sub-catchments.
The scenario is high-level analysis of a site with multiple small sub-catchments, each of which will have facilities in place to remove the first 25 mm of runoff (details to be confirmed) with additional attenuation storage on top of that for peak flow reduction. I know link nodes can be used to set flow thresholds/limits for routing purposes, but that is based on a flow rate rather than volume. Looking for something similar but based on removal of the first XX mm of runoff (or a defined volume).
