I hope someone help me with (vrv xpress) prgramme after i design the indoor units and outdoor units (using this programmee) i also need to ventilate the building so i used a VKM device for Ventilation and Humidification and i got an erro message that is tell me "the room temprature cannot be controlled by a VKM device" and i tried many changes in the temprature of the indoor unit and outdoor unit but the message does'nt disappear !!!!!
Thank you for your quick reply in this matter .

this seems to be a Daikin software... i assume Daikin offers training and support? Normally your local Daikin rep could help (they are interested in you using this!).

although i don't know the specifics of that software, I seriously hope you use a commercial software (Trace, HAP) for the actual load calculation???

The problem is there no daikin rep near me and i'v done the load calculation but i need this specifc programme to design the whole cycle ,(this programme not invlolve in load calculation it just design the cycle) and i think that every vrv manufacture have His own programme for designing The vrv system so i need someone who work previously on this programme or similar to it to help me !!!!
thanks again .

If no rep is nearby, why would you want to specify a Daikin system? Your client will "love" you when he has a problem and learns you selected a product with no local support.
if you already don't get support designing (the part where they sell it to you!), who does your client get support?

no rep nearby means no factory startup, no licensed contractor, ....

My advice if you have Mitsubishi rep nearby, go with Mitsu. Many spare parts, much denser support.

disregard that message, you can work and select ventilation unit, the message only emphasizes that ventilation unit will mostly pretreat fresh air and cannot be controlled by indoor temperature.

in vrv express you can use the program to correctly set up piping system, outdoor unit and so on.

you also need vkm programm to calculate exact temperature downstream of ventilation unit.

that you need some outside software to calculate how much load is taken by ventilation unit so that you can correctly select additional indoor unit for the space.

not ideal, but it works. daikin does not offer software which covers "rounded" calculations. they are still better than they were not long ago, though; in times when competitors were already offering comprehensive calculation software they were still offering just their fancy tables.

Don't always rely on vendor software. Sometimes, it is best to do things by hand, psych charts, etc.

see related systems and equipment and fundamentals handbooks from ASHRAE, you should get better answers than from vendors. You should start to design systems without relying on vendors. Love the observations by HerrKaleun above - No vendor, No spec, period.

Remember, Vendors are..... Vendors, they are there to SELL equipment, not engineer systems for you. And they WILL LIE to anyone to sell their equipment.

agree with Cry22. At minimum they will sugar-coat their product regardless of what application you have.
especially VRV vendors... "oh you have low ambient temp, don't worry... oh you don't even have simultaneous heating and cooling, VRV still is the best system for you... "
