Greetings Gents,

I'm are trying to find some mechanical data (allowables) for this W350 casting aluminum alloy.

It seems to be a pretty old designation, used for an aircraft part (float strut for a DHC-3 Otter) some 47 years ago.

I need to perform a structural analysis for this part, and so far nobody heard anything about this material (including MatWeb). I suspect it must be some type of Al-Mg alloy, but it's only a wild guess.

Any ideas or info sources would be highly appreciated.

Thanks !
