In a food and beverage plant, they have a big room (300' x 300' x 50') to store the finished products. It's a refrigerated room but there is no ventilation.

What's the requirement for ventilation for this type of room? I can't find it in ASHRAE 62.1.

Thanks.

62.1-2013 addendum l, added a row for freezers and refrigerated spaces. How many people do you expect to be working in there? How long will they remain in there? Additional ventilation is required if combustion, like propane forklifts are also in there.

Thank you. Forklifts are electric so that's not a problem. There may be 2 people working, and I would expect they go in and out fork-lifting the pallets out the space.

Ashrae has 10 cfm/person, and no requirement for area, which seems a little light for that sized space, but on the otherhand, refrigerated makeup air can be expensive.
