For any single floor building (Only load bearing walls no RCC columns)approximately how much depth of excavation required from GL and what will be minimum continuous strip footings cross requirements which is below the brick wall throughout its periphery and what will be the reinforce requirement.
Building height is 10 ft only, Lintel beam will be added for stability purpose and also 4" thick slab will construct afterwards.

There will be chance of future expansion (Another floor above).

Thank you in advance.

Are you asking us to design a building foundation for you?

@phamENG previously I have not done this kind of wall foundation, I need to check what are the others used as foundation/excavations if any one have done similar kind of things. Frankly I need some frequently used dimensions to get the idea that my design is following the industry standards.

Then I'd suggest you run through it and see what you come up with, then post that and ask specific questions about things you're unsure about.

As a starting point, your foundation dimensions will be partially determined by the allowable soil bearing capacity which you should have from a geotechnical report or using presumptive allowable bearing pressures from IBC (if that is your governing code). Are you a junior engineer or have a mentor?

Also keep in mind that many places have a minimum depth of foundation to avoid frost concerns.

If there's the potential for adding a second floor in the future, you need to have that already planned out in your brain now. How will they frame the additional structure? Where will those loads come down? You can't just design it for the current plan and then magically change it later to support a second floor.

Anyway I have sorted out the things.

Thank you guys whoever actually tried to help me out.

Also I want to mentioned here that this forum is to help people and to do so everyone is sharing their knowledge to help out people. I feel whoever posting their questions are not intend to seek free consultant from here, its some people mindset that how they are feeling when they are helping people.
